Event Details
Born in Jacksonville, Alabama, Riley Green was raised on the sounds of traditional Country, Bluegrass, and Southern Gospel music. He learned the spirit of songwriting and performing at a young age while spending time with his grandfather, Bufford Green, who ran the Golden Saw Music Hall. Green shared the stage with him and other men of his generation, laying a foundation for the songs he’d craft in the years to come, reflecting on the experiences of a young Southern man trying to find his place in the world. His 2018 IN A TRUCK RIGHT NOW EP (BMLG Records) introduced his mixture of outlaw-rebellion and respect for tradition across his self-penned four tracks, including his debut No. 1 hit single “There Was This Girl.” His follow-up single “In Love By Now” is currently ascending at Country radio from his newly released GET THAT MAN A BEER EP (BMLG Records). Released in June, the EP serves as a second collection of songs, co-written by Green and produced by Dann Huff, giving fans a preview of his forthcoming debut album. Rolling Stone Country, Taste of Country, Whiskey Riff, Sounds Like Nashville and iHeartRadio among others have all named Riley an “Artist to Watch,” in addition to being selected as a CMT “Listen Up Artist” and one of MusicRow’s 2019 “Next Big Things.” The past year has been a whirlwind of firsts for Green as he was selected to be a member of the Opry’s NextStage Program, fulfilling his childhood dream of performing on the Grand Ole Opry, and made his national TV debut on NBC’s TODAY, all while headlining his OUTLAWS LIKE US TOUR, which included multiple sold-out stops. Currently on the road with Brad Paisley’s 2019 WORLD TOUR this summer he will next join Jon Pardi in the fall for his HEARTACHE MEDICATION Tour and then trek out on his own for his GET THAT MAN A BEER TOUR. ABOUT THE TOUR
Berkeley County is famous for its Revolutionary War connections, not only serving as the setting for 32 of the war’s over 200 battle sites in South Carolina, but also two prominent military leaders: General Francis Marion and General William Moultrie. Join us as we explore the Patriots victories and defeats on Berkeley County battlefields. Tour will start at Lord Berkeley Conservation Trust, 136 E. Railroad Avenue, Moncks Corner, SC
29461.
Cars will caravan to each location.

The 103rd PGA Championship will be contested with a limited number of spectators on-site, May 17-23, 2021.
The decision to play golf’s only all-professional major championship with limited attendance was made in coordination with the State of South Carolina, MUSC Health, and CDC guidelines, with the health and well-being of all involved as the top priority.
Last held at The Ocean Course in 2012, the PGA Championship is now the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Koepka, McIlroy, Woods, Nicklaus, and Player.
To learn more about the Championship and measures being taken to conduct the event responsibly, visit the 2021 PGA Championship website.

BERKELEY COUNTY TOUR
THE COLONIAL HISTORY AND NATURAL WONDER OF BERKELEY COUNTY
Get an insider’s perspective of one of the most exotic attractions in the South Carolina Lowcountry. Your Bulldog guide will lead a walking tour exploring the trails carved from the original dikes of the rice-growing era and sharing the story of Dean Hall Plantation from colonial times through the post Civil War era and the development of a portion of the plantation into a modern-day natural attraction. You will also see where popular movies have been filmed, including “The Patriot” and “The Notebook”.
Your tour guide will introduce you to some of the onsite experts of Cypress Gardens… the naturalist, horticulturist, and lepidopterist (butterfly expert) who will enhance your understanding of the natural wonders along the way.
After the two-hour guided tour, stay as long as you like and enjoy these options at no additional charge…
-
- A self-guided paddle throughout the gardens on a flat bottomed wooden boat
- Beautiful trails that wind through the gardens and surrounding forests
- The Butterfly House, Swamparium, and Exotic Bird Habitat
