Biography

Allen Newton has worked at Berkeley County Water and Sanitation (BCWS) for 14 years. He was first hired as a mechanic, moved up to shop foreman for the Solid Waste Department, and was then promoted to Fleet & Facilities Maintenance Superintendent.
Prior to this, Newton spent more than 14 years working at the Charleston and Colleton School Bus Shops for the State Department of Education.
Allen Newton enjoys backpacking and volunteer work.
