Biography

Ginger L. Gaskins was born and raised in rural Berkeley County. She graduated from Trident Technical College in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Public Service (Paralegal) and graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Management Arts degree cum laude. She obtained both degrees while working for Berkeley County and raising her daughter who is the light of her life. She began her career at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and after 13 years transferred to the County Attorney’s Office where she supported the Legal Department as the paralegal for 15 years. Ginger accepted the position of Grants Administrator in August 2022. She loves all the natural resource activities that Berkeley County offers, and you can find her most weekends boating on Lake Moultrie when the weather is nice.
