You don’t have to travel far to experience Berkeley County’s own Cypress Gardens. It is blooming year-round with adventure and excitement for the entire family! Nestled within a genuine black water cypress swamp, Cypress Gardens offers student, group and family adventures including:

  • Flat bottom boat guided or self-guided tours amidst blooming azaleas, camellias, and other flowers.
  • Four miles of beautiful and serene nature trails.
  • An amazing butterfly House and aquarium with reptile exhibits.

Cypress Gardens also offers the perfect location for breathtaking wedding ceremonies and memorable receptions. Choose from a variety of settings throughout our beautiful 170-acre tranquil area, which has become a favorite destination for locals, as well as visitors from all over the country.

Cypress Gardens has hosted over 16 major movies including 'The Patriot', 'Cold Mountain' and 'The Notebook', along with the television mini-series 'North and South' and one of its first movies, 'Swamp Thing'.

A visit to Cypress Gardens will be an experience you will always remember.
