Mission Statement
The mission of the Procurement Department is the acquisition of materials, supplies, equipment and services necessary for operation of the County's Departments and to insure that each purchase is made in a legal, ethical and professional manner in compliance with the County’s Procurement Ordinance and the practices of the procurement profession.

Vendors wishing to be placed on Berkeley County bidder/vendor file will be required to complete a bidder/vendor application form. Forms may be requested from the Procurement Department or downloaded here

Berkeley County Government will be utilizing the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) 5-digits commodity code in the near future. Vendors submitting applications are requested to include the 5-digits commodity code for their products or services.
