MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Friday, September 6, 2024) – Berkeley County will soon begin accepting applications for park projects through the South Carolina Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) Grant Program.
The PARD Grant Program allocates grants to eligible entities within Berkeley County to develop new public recreation facilities or enhance/renovate existing facilities. The South Carolina Parks and Recreation Department requires the project site to be either leased or deeded, fee simple to Berkeley County Government. This is matching grant program where all projects must be matched by at least 20 percent. Learn more about the PARD Grant Program and eligibility requirements HERE.

The application period for the Berkeley County PARD Grant Program is Monday, September 23 – Friday, October 4.
