MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Friday, October 3, 2025) – Berkeley County is conducting a stormwater inventory of the County’s Stormwater Management System in Oak Creek and Longford Place subdivisions of Goose Creek October 6-10, 2025, to assess drainage and flooding concerns.
The County has contracted with Woolpert’s stormwater data collection team for this project. Woolpert’s field personnel will be traveling to properties in these two subdivisions shown on the map HERE. Field personnel will take measurements and will use GPS or survey equipment and cameras to collect data to help determine the existing Level of Service of the system and provide an alternative analysis to mitigate flooding for the community. They will be identified by name badges, safety vests and/or other items of identification. Each team member will carry identification and can provide additional site-specific information, if necessary.
Inventory of the stormwater management system is conducted to meet the requirements of the County’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System stormwater permit, as required by the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services.
Please allow Woolpert’s field personnel access to stormwater system components on your property for the purpose of data collection. Berkeley County and Woolpert appreciate your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact Berkeley County Stormwater at 843-719-4195 or vog.csytnuocyelekreb@pmwsbew.
