MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Thursday, February 13, 2025) – Berkeley County will be working this month with roadway striping contractor, AAA Stripe A Lot, to redo striping along parts of Cane Bay Boulevard.
Work will specifically take place between the traffic circle at Nexton Parkway Extension and Highway 176 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18. A detour will be in place each day.
- On February 17, crews will be striping the outbound lanes of Cane Bay Boulevard. During this work, both lanes of the roadway will be CLOSED between the traffic circle at Nexton Parkway Extension and Highway 176. SEE DETOUR A ATTACHED.
- On February 18, crews will be striping the inbound lanes of Cane Bay Boulevard between the traffic circle at Nexton Parkway Extension and Highway 176. An intermittent one-lane closure will be in place during the duration of the work. SEE DETOUR B ATTACHED.
When traveling through the work area both days, drivers are urged to drive cautiously and follow all detour signage. Delays are expected. Please note that all work is weather dependent and subject to change.
