Biography

Alan Roberts is the Solid Waste Superintendent has been with Berkeley County for 22 years.
He attended high school in Salem Virginia and graduated from Salem High School. After graduation, he joined the US. Navy where he served for eight years. Following that, he took a job with Schneider National as an over the road truck driver for nine and a half years.
He then worked in the standard warehouse, running fork lifts and training truck drivers. Following that, he accepted a job with the Berkeley County Landfill as a Vehicle Operator and moved up to Equipment Operator. He then took on his current position and Landfill Superintendent.
