Biography

Deputy County Supervisor Ashley Powell has been working in the public sector for nearly a decade with varied experience in the areas of Planning and Public Administration. Prior to becoming Deputy County Supervisor for Berkeley County, Ms. Powell served as Assistant County Administrator for Richland County Government.
Ms. Powell grew up in Berkeley County and graduated from Stratford High School in 2004 before going on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a minor emphasis in Religion from Clemson University and a Master of Urban Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Ms. Powell is an AICP certified Planner and maintains active membership in various professional organizations. In her spare time, Ms. Powell enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and attending football games, traveling and exploring parks and trails with her Great Dane, Khan.
