Biography

Daniel Corbin joined Berkeley County in 2023 and currently serves as the County’s Fleet Manager. He came to the County from the Town of Summerville, where he served 41 years.
As a Department Head at the Town of Summerville, he was responsible for repairs, oversight, management, maintenance and scheduling for fuel, generators, vehicles, including fire, police, heavy truck, construction, and military equipment. He has also served as a reserve police officer for seven years and a volunteer firefighter for nine years. In 1986, Corbin started an automotive machine shop that was in business for a decade.
Daniel and his wife reside in Summerville and have three daughters. When not working, he enjoys working on classic muscle cars, riding motorcycles and spending time at the beach.
