Biography

Melissa Wheatley is the Solid Waste Administrator. She was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She graduated from Francis Marion University in 2006 with a BS in Biology. Little worked for SCDHEC as a Solid Waste Inspector for 7.5 years. In 2014, she started her career with Berkeley County as the Environmental Coordinator. In 2016, she advanced to the position of Solid Waste Administrator.
