March is the prime time to view spectacular blooming flowers at one of the Lowcountry’s most fascinating sites. Cypress Gardens’ “Breath of Spring” weekend kicks off with an annual Flower Show hosted by local garden clubs, then progresses into art and craft exhibits, live entertainment and tons of springtime fun for the entire family.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday
March 1st, 2nd and 3rd
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

“People from all over the Lowcounty and beyond come to Cypress Gardens during blooming season,” says Heather Graham, Manager of Cypress Gardens. “We’ve been told that our flowers, which line our blackwater swamp and are plentiful along our 3.5 miles of hiking trails, are some of the most magnificent around. We have quite a collection of varied and vibrant blooms.”

The Belle Island Garden Club, Town & Village Garden Club, Camilla Garden Club of Greater Charleston, Garden Club of Otranto and the Berkeley County Art Guild will be participating. All Breath of Spring activities are free with regular paid admission to Cypress Gardens ($10.00 adult, $9.00 Senior, $5.00 child 6 to 12 years of age).
