The Real Property Services (Assessor) Department is in the process of changing the forms for Legal Residence 4%, Agricultural Use and adding a form to request refunds for prior tax years. Currently, there are combined forms for legal residence and agricultural use. The office will now have separate forms along with instructional pages for each application.
 
As tax laws change, our office has to make application adjustments to reflect those changes. Please make sure to utilize the most current application[s] to prevent misunderstandings as to what is required.

All applications are accessible on the Berkeley County website: www.berkeleycountysc.gov

The Berkeley County Home page has a listing of departments in the left margin, click on Real Property. Again, look in the left margin under Additional Information and click on Real Property Forms & Documents. Click on the form[s] you wish to submit.

PLEASE NOTE: THESE CHANGES WILL TAKE EFFECT AS OF OCTOBER 3, 2016.
