Johnny Cribb has been involved in public service for the past 32 years and is currently serving in his second term as Berkeley County Supervisor. Prior to becoming Supervisor of Berkeley County, in January 2019, Mr. Cribb served as the Administrator for the City of Hanahan, a position he held for 10 years. Previous employment also includes 12 years with the Town of Mount Pleasant and three years with Charleston County School District.

Mr. Cribb was born in North Charleston and has lived in Berkeley County (Hanahan) for the past 27 years with his wife Teri and their two children, Brooks and Ashlyn. Brooks is a Citadel graduate and is currently serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the United Sates Marine Corp. Ashlyn is a graduate of Charleston Southern University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Mr. Cribb has served on the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG), and Charleston Area Transportation Study Team (CHATS) for the past 17 years and the Berkeley County Transportation Committee (CTC) for 10 years. He has also served on the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) Board.
He is a member of the SC Military Affairs Advisory Council. He also serves on the SCDNR Marine Advisory Committee, the Charleston Regional Development Alliance (CRDA), and Charleston Visitors Bureau Board of Directors.

Mr. Cribb earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1994. He is a 2007 graduate of the Institute for Departmental Management held at the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Cribb attends Restoration Community Church in Hanahan, SC. His spare time activities include fishing, mountain bike riding, hunting, yard work and family time on the water.
