Berkeley County Supervisor Johnny Cribb has been involved in public service for more than two decades. Prior to becoming Supervisor of Berkeley County, in January 2019, Mr. Cribb served as the Administrator for the City of Hanahan…a position he held for 10 years.
Mr. Cribb was born in North Charleston and has lived in Berkeley County for the past nineteen years with his wife Teri and their two children, Brooks and Ashlyn. Brooks just finished his freshman year at the Citadel, on a United States Marine Corps Scholarship. Ashlyn will attend Charleston Southern University in the fall of ‘19 where she will play softball for the Buccaneers.
Mr. Cribb has served on the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG), Charleston Area Transportation Study Team (CHATS), and the Berkeley County Transportation Committee (CTC) for the past nine years. He has also served on the Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) Board and is a current member of the Berkeley County Storm Water Advisory Committee.
Mr. Cribb earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1994. He is a 2007 graduate of the Institute for Departmental Management held at the University of South Carolina.
Mr. Cribb attends Restoration Community Church in Hanahan, SC where he serves as a Community Group leader and a Deacon.
His spare time activities include fishing, coaching, hunting, yard work and family time on the water.
