MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Friday, January 23, 2026) – Berkeley County will host a drop-in public information meeting for the U.S. 176 Widening Project Phase 2. The project consists of widening U.S. 176 from two to four lanes from Nexton Parkway to Jedburg Road, with turn lanes at the intersections.
The meeting will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Cane Bay High School Cafeteria, located at 1624 State Road in Summerville. Community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the project and provide feedback.
