Goose Creek United Methodist Church (142 Red Bank Road) will open as a warming center January 9, January 10, and January 11.
Guests can stay 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and will have access to a cot with linens and a pillow. A warm dinner and breakfast will be served. Tri-Link and CARTA will provide transportation from any of their pick-up locations.
With possible winter weather traveling across our area on Friday, Jan. 10, certain portions of Berkeley County could receive a wintry mix. Forecasters do not anticipate enough precipitation to cause any significant problems for the county.
