We are excited to announce that the Shuckin’ in the Park Oyster Roast is back!On March 14, 2026, Old Santee Canal Park will once again host its annual Oyster Roast. Oysters will be locally harvested clusters from the Edisto River and will be served in 1-gallon buckets for $15.00 per bucket. Presale admission tickets will be available soon for $5 per person. There will be no presale tickets for oysters or food. Please check back for additional details. Small coolers are allowed; however, no pets or golf carts are permitted. Our Easter event is a fun-filled celebration for the whole community, featuring a special visit from the Easter Bunny and a variety of local vendors. Families will enjoy festive activities, cheerful photo opportunities, children’s crafts, and browsing unique goods and treats from our vendors. With a lively atmosphere and plenty of smiles, the event will surely bring everyone together to celebrate the season in a joyful and memorable way 

The park will be visited by the Easter Bunny, and brightly colored eggs will be hidden throughout the grounds! Bring your kids out for an exciting Easter egg hunt while exploring the park at the same time. Each child will have the opportunity to collect up to 10 eggs, which can be redeemed for candy and prizes. A very limited number of golden eggs will also be hidden and redeemable for a special prize. The fee is $5.00 per person, and the egg hunt is open to children ages 13 and under. This fee includes photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting, access to a bounce house, and more.
