BCSO’S Annual Summer Deputy’s Day Camp will be held on July 13-17, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parental transportation is needed to the Berkeley County Emergency Services Training Center (474 Reid Hill Rd., just behind the Wal-Mart in Moncks Corner) for participation, and child pickup. Drop off time will be at 8:30 a.m. Please make contact with a Deputy before leaving your, child. Pick-up time is 4:00 pm. This event will be limited to the first 50 students, ages 8 – 12 years of age who return the completed parental consent, registration forms, and a check for $75.00 made payable to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Crime Prevention Unit. Please mail or bring check and registration forms to 223 North Live Oak Drive Moncks Corner, S.C. 29461.

Each day will begin with the pledge of allegiance, and a different Theme for Discussion. Activities and demonstrations will include but are not limited to:

  • BCSO Forensics
  • Cypress Gardens
  • Hunting & Fishing Simulator
  • Special Response Team and K-9 Demo
  • Basic First Aid / Fire Department Demo
  • Charleston County Sheriff’s Office Motor Squad Demo
  • Music “N” Motion
  • Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Water Park

We look to have an exciting camp this year, and a better one next year. Come and share with us. Bringing the community and Law Enforcement together as one family, our children are our greatest assets, we must embrace them and encourage them in the way that they should go while they are young, and when they are old, they will not depart from it.
