Biography

J. Camden (“Cam”) West is a lifelong resident of Berkeley County. He is the son of John S. West and Priscilla C. West, of Moncks Corner and is one of six siblings who reside in the Lowcountry. Cam married his wife, Whitney, in 2011 and they have three children together.
Cam graduated from Berkeley High School in 2003 followed by College of Charleston in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In 2010, he received a Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law.
Following his admission to the Bar in 2010, Cam joined his father, John, in private practice at West Law Firm of Moncks Corner. Cam’s brother, Mason, joined West Law Firm in 2016. Cam practiced continuously at West Law Firm until his appointment by SC Gov. Henry McMaster as Master-in-Equity for Berkeley County.
