Biography

Christopher “Chris” Heironimus is the Operations Manager for Berkeley County Government’s Information Technology Department. Chris has been in the IT industry 30 + years. He holds an under-graduate degree in Business Management and a graduate degree in Management & Leadership, both from Southern Wesleyan University. He was born in Charleston, SC and spent his younger years on Grand Forks, Sheppard and Scott Air Force Bases. After returning to Charleston in 1986, in addition to working full time with local IT Infrastructure Contractors and Charleston County School District, he served as a South Carolina State Constable for 17 years and served in the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for seven years at Station Charleston. He and his wife, Denise, of 25 years enjoy family, especially their granddaughters and traveling our beautiful country and the Caribbean.
