Biography

Gerald Baxley is a 24-year active-duty retiree of the United States Air Force. He retired in 2005 as a Master Sergeant.
Gerald has served the veterans and their families of Berkeley County for over 19 years. During his college tenure, while studying Workforce Education and Development, Jerry began his service in the Berkeley County VA Office as a work-study during the 2005-2006 school year. After completing the work-study program, he was hired by the VA Office as a temporary receptionist and since then, has held every position within the office. For the past three years, Gerald has served as Director.
He holds accreditations from The American Legion, South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Association of County Veterans Affairs Officers, the Disabled American Veterans, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.
