Joint Plan Review (JPR) is a free, voluntary, and informal virtual meeting that is available to applicants that are seeking to develop real property in the County.   Meetings consist of staff members from various county departments that are directly involved with development plan review.  JPR is a great opportunity for an applicant to obtain preliminary feedback on a conceptual site design as well as information on the plan review process and submittal requirements.   Because JPR is a forum for the applicant to obtain technical information from staff, it is recommended that external attendees be familiar with applicable Berkeley County ordinances and include a certified design professional.  Meetings are held in 45-minute time blocks and scheduled by appointment only on a first-come-first-serve basis on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.  Telephone/Video Conference information will be provided to applicants upon scheduling.

CANCELLATION: If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact the Plan Case Admin at vog.csytnuocyelekrebobfsctd@nimdaesacnalp.  ***Attendance of the Applicant(s) is expected.  It takes staff time and resources to prepare for scheduled meetings. If, due to a change in plans, you are unavailable or no longer need the scheduled timeslot, please notify us immediately to prevent loss of staff resources. Applicants who fail to attend 2 registered sessions will be barred from reapplying for the same or other projects.***

If you have not created a log in for the portal, please create one. The email address you provide for your contact information is the email address that needs to be used to create the log in for the portal.  Every plan case that has that contact email listed will show up in the portal.

How to create log in: Press Register, input your email address, first and last name, company, and password information in the appropriate fields, and Press Register.   A message will pop up that will read, Account Created.  Please check your email as you must verify your account prior to logging in.  Go to your email inbox and open the email that you received from vog.csytnuocyelekrebobfsctd@ylperon.  Select the link, Verify Your Account.   Once selected,  a window will emerge in the portal stating that your account has been verified.  Press Proceed to login, and, when prompted, login using your email and password you provided when you initially registered. 

Once you log into the portal, press Joint Plan Review and select Schedule Session.

Please be sure to use your registered email address on all applications that you submit to the County’s reviewing departments and notify the Plan Case Admin should your contact information change or should you need any assistance.
