MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Wednesday, December 3, 2025) – Berkeley County Emergency Management will hold two additional public meetings to share details and receive input on the 2025 Berkeley County All-Hazard Mitigation Plan:
- Monday, December 15 from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. Goose Creek Library: 325 Old Moncks Corner Road, Goose Creek
- Thursday, December 18 from7 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Daniel Island Library: 2301 Daniel Island Drive, Daniel Island
The All-Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies potential hazards and disasters, assesses vulnerabilities and risks, and proposes strategies to mitigate those risks with the goal of making the County more resilient. The Town Hall Meetings will allow people to provide feedback on the Mitigation Plan, ensuring it reflects the needs and concerns of people and businesses throughout the County.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, the information being shared was presented during a previous Town Hall Meeting held in September. A recording of that session is available to watch on the Berkeley County Government, SC Youtube page HERE.
